iii) I think it’s common knowledge that Nordstrom is a top destination for all types of clothing and shoes. Holiday footwear is no exception to this rule.

These silver pointed holographic heels are sure to draw lots of attention. They combine two heel trends I’m currently obsessing over; clear heels and embellished shoes.

Best shoes to wear with a sequin dress
1. Gold shoes
A pair of gold high heels is always my go-to when I’m styling a dress during the holidays. It’s so festive and adds some brightness to any look. I find that gold shoes also work with any skin tone and with all types of sequin dresses. It serves as a neutral color in many ways. Consider opting for a pair of gold strappy sandals to go with your gold or black sequin dress. Your accessories could also match your heels so grab that gold clutch before heading out.

2. Black shoes
Everyone’s favorite neutral color was bound to make it on this list. I would suggest you avoid wearing black heels with sequined dresses in bright colors just because of the great contrast this creates. Black stiletto heels would look great with a black, brown or dark green sequin dress because these colors are already darker.

I find that silver shoes are not as bright as gold ones but they are great to pair with different colors when you want the dress to be the main focus. You could go for a monochrome look by pairing a silver sequin dress with a pair of silver heels for a chic holiday look.

Of course, this list is not exhaustive and you could go with a color not featured here but I just find that the colors mentioned on this list are the most versatile and the best shoe colors to work with most of your dresses. The type of shoe you go with ultimately depends on the type of dress you’re wearing. If you’re dressing up during the winter months and are concerned about snow and the cold, opt for a pair of boots, or taller ones.
