I am not sure where this originated from but in today’s blog post, I want to show you how you can wear your rain boots to work and still keep them on at the office if you want to. We have no control over the weather and should not feel like we have to keep changing shoes throughout the day to fit in. If you do this, that’s fine but I want to show you how another way is possible.
The trick to staying stylish yet dry on rainy days is to invest in the right pair of rain boots. A sleek waterproof boot could take you from the bus shelter to your director’s office without you having to change shoes if you don’t feel like it. Of course, the option to change into a pair of ballet flats or heels is still there. You just have another option. The wet weather may bring your spirits down, but it does not have to reflect in your outfit.

1) Rain boots with skinny jeans
A great way to create a casual or even a business casual look with your rain boots is by pairing them with skinny jeans. For a casual look, you could try pairing distressed jeans with a tank top. This is a good idea for rainy sunny days. On cold and rainy days, the right pair of rain boots could be worn with cozy sweaters for an effortless look you could wear to grab a coffee.

My favorite way to style rain boots to the office is by wearing a simple blouse with a blazer. It’s such a no-fuss outfit that won’t show any raindrops that may fall on you. High rain boots work best with skinny jeans as they’re really easy to tuck in without bunching.
