What a time we’re living in!

I finally have a blog post up and it’s in the midst of one of the most uncertain times of our lives, collectively as the human race. Just 2 and a half weeks ago, I had just returned from NYC and was planning my next trip and then Boom! Everyone is being asked to stay home, borders are closed, stores are closed, offices are closed, hundreds of thousands of people are unemployed and kids are at home. WOW does not even describe the appropriate reaction to all of this. On most days, I am cool, calm and organized but then on some days, especially when I see some cities on lock down until June, I’m like WTF??!! Help!

Post ImageAt first I thought the Covid-19 pandemic would somehow not affect Canada. Boy was I wrong! From mid-March, it seems like everything happened in seconds and laws and restrictions just kept rolling out…and then toilet paper was sold out everywhere.

Don’t get me started on the toilet paper because none of my friends can explain that to me. Can you? Please break it down for a sister.

I’ve been home for the most part and following the recommendations and restrictions to the best of my abilities; except for when I step out for 10 minutes to take photos around my building with my roommate, lol.

It just feels weird being home so much and not being able to attend events, plan a getaway, meet up with an old friend for dinner or just walk for 30 minutes aimlessly.

I really pray this is over soon because I would love to get back to our old “normal.”

In my next post, I’ll break down all the activities I’m doing to keep me busy and active!

Until then, stay safe and wash your hands!

XOXO
