Hey hey hey! It’s been a minute on here, hasn’t it?

There’s no denying it. Fall/Winter is officially here. In Canada we seem to have 3 weeks of Fall and then head straight into 5 months of Winter – get ready for my hibernation because you know how your girl limits her movements once the negative temperatures appear!

First things first, let’s have a catch up!

For the rest of Summer 2019 I was busy attending some great events (both professional and casual) such as the Black Beauty brunch, African Fashion Week, the African Fashion Industry Awards and more. If you follow me on the ‘gram, you would have caught a lot of this! I have also been sustaining my weight loss (for the most part as I will admit I have had several moments of weakness), I met up with friends I had not seen in almost 10 years and I got to visit places I had always wanted to.

I hope you all had a great summer, however you spent it.

My winter goals are: work on 2020 pieces for Melapteh, save a bunch of money, plan an outlandish birthday for myself next month, plan my 2020 trips and re-evaluate my supply chain model!

Here is a great monochromatic layered Fall look to give you some inspiration during these chilly times.

The coat was purchased 5 years ago from Value Village! Was definitely a great find. The pants are from Fashion Nova and the sweater + vest are from H&M and Zara respectively.
